Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform
announced that the manga Ashi Dribbles Through (Dribble
Nukko Āshi-chan), the work of author Mononobu, will come to an
end on Sunday, August 4, coinciding with the publication of its
15th chapter.
A short
story, but intense
This sports
romance manga began serialization on March 3, 2025, and quickly
gained attention for its fresh and youthful approach. With a mixture of soccer,
adolescent emotions and a secret relationship between its protagonists, the
work managed to capture an audience that seeks light stories with heart. The
publisher Shueisha published the first compilation volume
on June 4, and the series is available in English through the MANGA
Plus platform.
What is
Ashi Dribbles Through about?
According
to the official description on MANGA Plus:
"That morning when I dribbled
for you, was the moment I fell in love." Thus begins the secret bond
between Ashi, a lonely girl who loves soccer, and Aoto, the popular
boy on the team. A new football romantic comedy unfolds, racing
hearts with the intensity of youth.
A
closure that leaves its mark
Despite its
short length, Ashi Dribbles Through has earned a special place
among readers looking for stories where sport and romance intersect with
sensitivity and energy. Its conclusion on August 4 at 5:00 p.m.
(Spanish time) will mark the end of a fleeting, but brilliant, chapter
in Shueisha's digital magazine.
