This
summer, The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses series is
winning over fans with its mix of absurd comedy, fantasy, and action.
The story follows Toto, a hero with great talent but socially
incapable of forming a team... until three beautiful women show up and invite
him to join their group. The problem? They all plan to kill him in secret.
Now, the
anime has revealed its opening and closing sequences without credits,
showing more clearly its aesthetic proposal, which alternates between the
adorable and the deadly.
An
opening full of rhythm and tension
The opening,
titled "Tenden Barabara" and starring Yoshino,
combines vibrant animation with action and comedy scenes that show the chaotic
relationship between Toto and his unusual companions.
A modern
and charming ending
In
contrast, the ending presents us with the heroines in a more
relaxed and stylized context, with a modern and flirtatious atmosphere. The
song "Suki Magazine" is performed by Iori
Saeki, Haruka Shiraishi, and Hitomi Ueda, who also play Ciel, Goa,
and Anemone, respectively.
A production full of talent
The series
is directed by Noriaki Akitaya (Reborn as a Vending Machine)
at the CONNECT studio. The screenplay is by Michiko
Yokote (Campfire Cooking in Another World), the character
design by Takao Sano (Restaurant to Another World) and
the music by Shun Narita (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer).
The original work was created by Norishiro-chan and Yukiji
Setsuda, and is currently available in simulcast via Crunchyroll.
