The
anime Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill (Isekai
Hōrō Meshi's Tondemo Skill), based on the light novel by Ren Eguchi and
illustrated by Masa, unveiled its first official trailer for Season 2.
The teaser reveals new additions to the cast, a promotional poster, and
confirms its premiere for October 7, 2025 on TV Tokyo and
affiliated networks.
New
music themes confirmed
The video
also teases the main themes of the new season: the opening song
will be "yummy goodday" performed by Cent
Chihiro Chittiii, while the closing will be in charge of Chelmico with
the theme "SALT AND PEPPER".
Revamped
cast and godlike characters
Among the
new voices are:
- Daisuke Namikawa as Elleland, master of an
adventurer's guild.
- Shirō Saitō as Hephaestus, god of
blacksmithing.
- Kazuya Nakai as Vahagn, god of war.
In
addition, Ayumu Murase will play Dra-chan, a fairy dragon who
joins Mukōda's group attracted by the aroma of his cooking.
MAPPA
Production and Return Team
Much of the
original team returns, although new talent has been added in design and
animation. Tsuyoshi Kuwahara joins Nao Ōtsu in character design, while
Shiho Tanaka and Eriko Itō take on the role of chief animation directors.
The MAPPA studio will continue to lead the animation,
consolidating the visual quality of the franchise.
An
isekai with a long history
The first
season premiered in January 2023 on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari
TV, with Crunchyroll in charge of international
streaming. The original work began to be published in 2016 on the Shosetsuka
ni Narō portal, with editions printed under Overlap.
Currently, it also has manga adaptations and a spin-off focused on the Sui
slime. In English, both the light novel and the manga adaptation are available
thanks to J-Novel Club.
