The
official website of the anime Easygoing Territory Defense by the
Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest
Fortified City published on August 30 the first main trailer along
with a new promotional visual, increasing the expectation for its premiere
in 2026.
In this
trailer, the voices of the three protagonists are revealed for the first
time: Van, played by Yumi Uchiyama (Puck in Re:ZERO); Till,
voiced by MAO (Shion on That Time I Got Reincarnated
as a Slime); and Khamshin, played by Mariya Ise (Killua
in Hunter × Hunter).
A visual full of determination
The new
visual features the young Van with the motto: "With this power I
will develop a village without a name!", reflecting the essence
of the work where the magic of production will be the key to transforming a
humble settlement into a fortified city.

about the novel and manga
The series
is based on the light novel written by Sou Akaie and
illustrated by Kururi, originally published on Shousetsuka
ni Narou since May 2020. Subsequently, Overlap released
it under his Overlap Novels label in September 2021, currently
having seven volumes published in Japan.
The story
also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Maro Aoiro, serialized
in Comic Gardo since August 2021 and which to date has also
accumulated seven volumes. Both versions are licensed in English
by Seven Seas Entertainment.
A brief
synopsis about the work
Van, the fourth son of a marquis,
discovers at an early age that he has been reincarnated. With
memories of his past life, he proves to be a prodigy, though everything changes
when he manifests an unusual power of production magic, something
his proud wizarding family rejects. Rejected by his father, he is sent to a
ruined village. However, Van sees an opportunity in this place: can he build a
fortress capable of thriving beyond combat magic?
