The
official site of the Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter anime
announced the addition of four new characters who will debut
from episode 5, scheduled for August 2 in Japan.
This news comes as the series continues its broadcast as part of the 2025
summer season.
Meet the
new characters and their voices
Lisa
Leinster will
be played by Ayako Kawasumi (known for her role as Saber
in Fate/stay night). She is the domineering mother of
Richard, Lydia, and Lynne, and the one who truly controls House Leinster from
the shadows. He has a very close relationship with Allen, whom he treats as his
own son. Although he has retired, he is still able to effortlessly summon the
powerful Firebird spell.
Richard
Leinster will
be voiced by Tatsumaru Tachibana (Magoroku Inui in Fermat
Kitchen). He is the heir to the duchy and the older
brother of Lydia and Lynne. Although he appears to be detached from his
sisters, he possesses outstanding skills in swordsmanship and magic, and firmly
leads the Imperial Guard. Unlike Lisa, she can't use the Firebird.
Anne will be played by Saya
Horigome. It is the head of the maids, whose age is a mystery.
He is loyal to Lydia and Lynne, and discreetly oversees all the family's
internal affairs. She especially likes dressing Allen with Lydia, and loves to
see the sisters happy when they receive compliments.
Gerald
Waynlight will
be voiced by Toshiya Miyata, a member of the idol group Kis-My-Ft2.
He is a prince who has fallen from grace, stripped of his right to
the throne due to numerous scandals. Even so, he retains his title and gets
involved in events that affect Allen and company.
A story

Private
Tutor to the Duke's Daughter is the anime adaptation of the light novel series by Riku
Nakano (story) and Cura (illustrations), released in
Japan on July 5, 2025. The anime platform broadcasts the series
simultaneously in multiple regions of the world.
The story
follows Allen, who after failing the exam to become a court
sorcerer, accepts an unexpected job as a private tutor to a duke's daughter.
However, the young woman cannot use magic, and soon discovers that behind her
condition there are secrets that could change everything. With unconventional
methods, Allen will seek to help her rediscover her power and her future.
