The fourth
season of The Rising of the Shield Hero continues to surprise
fans with new revelations. This time, an official visual focused on
Raphtalia has been released, where the heroine shines in the
foreground, reflecting the key role she will play in the upcoming episodes.
This illustration also anticipates the protagonists' journey to the Q'ten
Lo region, an arc awaited by readers of the original work.
A look
at what's next
The current
season, which began airing on July 9, 2025, is in full swing and is
already preparing the premiere of its sixth episode this week. Along with the
new visual, a trailer was presented that gives a glimpse of moments of tension,
combats and a greater role of Raphtalia in the plot.

Equipment
The
direction is in charge of Hitoshi Haga (Made in Abyss,
assistant director), while Kinema Citrus is once again in
charge of the animation. Keigo Koyanagi leads the composition
of the series, with character designs by Franziska van Wulfen, Sana
Komatsu and Masahiro Suwa. The soundtrack is composed
by Kevin Penkin (Tower of God), while the original
story belongs to Aneko Yusagi and Seira Minami.
A
journey of redemption and challenges
The series
follows Iwatani Naofumi, a young otaku who is transported to
another world and designated as the Shield Hero. Despite starting
his adventure with enthusiasm, he is betrayed a few days later, losing
everything he had. Trusting no one, he decides to ally himself with Raphtalia,
a demi-human slave, to face the dreaded Waves of Catastrophe and
overcome the dangers of this hostile world.
