During
the Aniplex Online Fest it was confirmed that the
franchise The Irregular at Magic High School will release
in 2026 a new film based on the Yotsuba Succession Arc,
one of the most anticipated arcs of Tsutomu Satou's work. The
event showed a promotional video, revealed the main production team, and
confirmed both returning actors and new additions to the cast.

cast and new voices
The central
characters will return with their usual actors: Yūichi Nakamura as
Tatsuya Shiba, Saori Hayami as Miyuki Shiba, Chiwa
Saitō as Maya Yotsuba, and Emiri Katō as Fumiya
Kuroba. They are joined by Daisuke Ono in the role of
Katsushige Shibata and Ai Kayano as Yuuka Tsukuba, expanding
the weight of the powerful Yotsuba family in this plot.
An
experienced staff
Jimmy Stone will
be directed at 8-Bit studio, while Taku Iwasaki will
return to the music that characterizes the franchise. Tsutomu Satou himself
is credited for the original story and Kana Ishida signs the
character design.
The
story behind Mahouka
The Yotsuba
family's succession arc marks a key point in the series, as it delves into the
internal conflicts of the influential clan. This will be the second film in the
franchise after The Girl Who Summons the Stars (2017). Recall
that the saga was born as light novels in 2008, concluding in 2020 with 32
volumes, and has inspired multiple spin-off anime and manga, including The
Visitor Arc and The Honor Student at Magic High School.
