HoYoverse announced all the details of the genshin Impact version 6.1 during its official broadcast. The new update of the popular RPG will be released on October 22, 2025 and it will include a new character, banners, missions, events and codes with free rewards.
Release and maintenance date
Version 6.1 will be available after scheduled maintenance October 21. HoYoverse maintains its usual six-week schedule between updates, so no delays are expected. Players are advised to claim all version 6.0 rewards by the deadline.
Version 6.1 codes
Three were revealed during the broadcast promotional codes which grant a total of 300 Primogems and other materials. They will be available until October 13 at 00:00 ET.

New character and banners
The update will feature a Nefer, a user Dendro five star specialized in Lunar-Bloom. His combat style is based on transforming and absorbing Dendro cores to enhance his Elementary Mastery and deal damage with his ultimate ability. Nefer will use the catalyst Reliquary of Truth, which increases its CRIT DMG and Elementary Mastery.
The Phase 1 of the banners it will feature the debut of Nefer along with a rerun of Furina. In the Phase 2 will appear Arlecchino and Zhongli. Its synergy with Furina will favor teams based on Dendro-Hydro reactions.
New missions and events
The main arch of Nod-Krai it will continue with new missions that will have a Laugh, one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, as an antagonist. Players will have the support of Varka, Arlecchino, Sandrone and Damselette to confront the forces of the Abyss.
A new one will also be introduced world boss which will leave ascension materials for Nefer, as well as temporary events with Primogems, Blackberry and improvement materials. As part of the special rewards, one will be offered Free Collei.
New mode: Miliastra Wonderland
Version 6.1 will add the mode Miliastra Wonderland, a sandbox environment created by Octavia of the Hexenzirkel. Players will be able to create a Manekin personalized, make objects using plans and share your creations with other users. This mode can be started from the Paimon menu or through the function Quick Start.
With the arrival of version 6.1, Genshin Impact expands the story of Teyvat and delve into the mysteries of Khaenri'ah, offering new activities and challenges for all players.
