Beyond the end of the journey) will enter one indefinite pause due
to the screenwriter's health problems Kanehito Yamada and the
artist Tsukasa Abe.

manga's hiatus, the franchise will remain active. The second season of the
anime Sousou no Frieren it is already scheduled for
release january 2026, continuing the journey of Frieren and his
companions on their journey beyond the end of the world.
