SB Creative announced that Toumei na Yoru ni Kakeru Kimi to, Me ni
Mienai Koi wo Shita. (Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky),
novel by Nanigashi Shima with illustrations of Raemz,
will receive both an anime adaptation for television and a live-action series.
The announcement confirms that the work, one of the most notable on recent
lists, will continue to expand its presence in different formats.
The
live-action version will be released on December 11 within the
Drama Tokku block of MBS, and will later reach other regional channels. The
series will be directed by Ryouma Kosasa and starring Riko
Nagase and Taiyu Fujiwara, who will play Kohara Fuyutsuki
and Kakeru Mano, respectively.
An
award-winning novel that never stops growing
Published
under the GA Bunko label in august 2023, the story gained
popularity thanks to its romantic approach and dramatic tone. The work obtained
the GA Bunko Prize Grand Prize and it was positioned as one of
the favorites in the rankings Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2024.
The project
also has a manga adaptation illustrated by hat., published in Manga
UP! since 2024. Its first volume was released this year and continues to gain
readers. Besides Yen Press he has published the novel in
English since January.
Although SB Creative confirmed the existence of the anime, details about the studio, cast or release date will be revealed later. Considering the growth of the franchise and the interest generated by live-action, the anime project is expected to receive a broader announcement in the coming months.
