The
festival of advertisements Kadokawa keep going. During
the livestream special of MF Bunko J's Fall School
Festival 2025, the anime adaptation of the mystery and romance light novels
was announced Killed Again, Mr. Detective? (Mata Korosarete
Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama). The announcement was accompanied by a
visual teaser and a promotional video.
Premiere
and Production Details
The series
is scheduled to premiere for april 2026 and it will be
broadcast through the channel TBS in Japan. The animation will
be produced by the studio LIDENFILMS (Tokyo Revengers, Rurouni
Kenshin 2023).
The
direction of the project falls on Takashi Naoya (Osananajimi
ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy). The composition of the series will be
supervised by Mio Inoue (Bukiyou na Senpai.),
while Akiko Kumada (Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds
Gather) will be in charge of character design. The music will be composed
by Shuuhei Mutsuki (Lycoris Recoil).
About
the work
The
original story, written by Teniwoha and illustrated by Riichu,
began publishing under the MF Bunko J label in august 2021. The
work won the Award of Excellence at the 18th edition of the MF Bunko J Light
Novel Newcomer Awards. He sixth volume the novel will go on
sale next November 25.
The franchise also featured a manga adaptation illustrated by Inaba, which was published between July 2022 and March 2024, ending with a total of two compilation volumes.
