Magic
classes are about to begin. The official website for the anime adaptation
of Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu (The Classroom of a Black
Cat and a Witch) revealed its first full promotional video, a key new
visual, and a host of cast members. The announcement confirmed that the series,
based on the manga by Yosuke Kaneda, will be released in april
2026 through the TBS network and its affiliates.

The trailer
offered a preview of the opening theme titled "Cusp",
which will be performed by the singer DISGUST (known for her
themes in Sword Art Online: Alicization). The series is produced by
the studio LIDENFILMS under the direction of Naoyuki
Tatsuwa (Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World). The music is
in charge of R・O・N.
About
the work
Yosuke Kaneda, famous for being the author of Boarding School Juliet, launched this school fantasy manga on the app Magazine Pocket of Kodansha in March 2022. The story combines comedy, romance and magic in an academic setting where students seek to become high-level witches.
