The clumsiest and most endearing BL manga in the genre finally arrives on the screen. The Go For It anime, Nakamura!!, an adaptation of Syundei's manga, will premiere on April 1, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by the third promotional video for the series, which shows Nakamura overflowing as he yells, "What do I do? I love him, I really love him!"
The trailer
also lets us see more of the everyday interactions between Nakamura and Hirose,
those bittersweet scenes where the protagonist doesn't even know how to breathe
near his crush.

Okuto
Nakamura is a shy, friendless boy who one day develops feelings for his
classmate Aiki Hirose, someone he hasn't even spoken to yet. What follows is a
series of failed attempts, wild imaginations, and moments of pure panic
whenever Hirose gets too close. The manga is famous for its retro aesthetic
inspired by the 80s and 90s, which gives it a unique nostalgic flavor within
the genre.
About
the work
The
original manga was created by Syundei. His first steps were taken as a short
chapter published in the pages of Opera magazine back in December 2014. After
the good reception, the author began to publish new chapters on a regular basis
from June 2015, until the publisher Akaneshinsha compiled the entire story in a
single printed volume in May 2017.
