characters by interacting with both local residents and tourists from the
region.
About
the work
The plot
follows Iori Kitahara, a young man who moves to a coastal city to
start his university life. What he expected to be a normal academic debut
quickly turns into absolute chaos when he is dragged into joining the local
diving club, a group of upperclassmen whose main activities consist of
uncontrolled drinking and questionable parties, leaving diving in the
background.
The original work, written by mangaka Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka, began serialization in 2014 and remains in publication with solid commercial success. The animated franchise originally debuted in July 2018 with its first season, cementing its popularity with a second installment that concluded in September last year. Now, this third season promises to elevate the comedy by moving the cast to a completely tropical setting.
