  • Second season.
Animated sequel scheduled for July, which will pick up the story directly from where the events of the first part concluded.

About the work

The plot follows an ordinary office worker who, after passing away, is reincarnated in a world ruled by video game mechanics under the body of a baby named Allen. In this universe, each individual receives a special ability at birth. Defying all odds, Allen is gifted with the worst and most restrictive classification possible: "Hell Mode," a setting that makes any attempt at progress a monumentally difficult task.

Far from surrendering to his unfortunate fate, the protagonist uses analytical knowledge of his past life and an unwavering work ethic to become the strongest adventurer. The original work, written by Shinko Shoji and illustrated by Moji, took its first steps as a web novel on the popular portal Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2017. Its resounding success prompted the Kadokawa publishing house to publish the printed volumes in 2019, the year in which it also began its respective manga adaptation, consolidating this story as one of the most read progression isekai today.
