The record
label Ingoku Danchi, belonging to the WWWave company,
updated its official website on Tuesday with a new promotional video for the
animated adaptation of the manga Ingoku Danchi. The production
committee confirmed that the series (whose international title will be Ingoku
Danchi: Deviant's Apartment Complex) will begin airing on Japanese
television on April 5.
The series
will be part of the nightly programming of the Tokyo MX and BS11 networks.
True to the tradition of this type of niche productions, the project will have
an exclusive uncensored version that will be broadcast through the AnimeFesta platform,
while the standard versions will arrive on other conventional streaming services.
To accompany this announcement, a second visual image and a snippet of the main
theme song titled "Danchi Tsuma no Yuuwaku Part 2," performed by
the Miko singer, were revealed.
Ingoku
Danchi Details
The Elias studio
is in charge of all animation production. The direction falls into the hands
of Toshikatsu Tokoro, a filmmaker with quite a lot of experience in
the genre after his work on the comedy Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!?. Eiyo
Kurosaki oversees the composition of the scripts, while the character
designs were adapted by Shingo Nishimoto (who served as chief
animation director on Shin Shinka no Mi). The original soundtrack
is being composed by Loser Kashiwagi.
What is
the story about?
Described
as a work of extreme suspense and eroticism, the plot follows the new manager
of a building named Yoshida. His ordinary job turns into a real
nightmare when he discovers that the residential complex is inhabited by
married women with rather evil intentions. These tenants wear mysterious
outfits known as "Libido Cross", which have the strange quality of
amplifying people's hidden desires. Now, the protagonist must protect the
building and the rest of the normal residents from these constant threats.
About
the original work and the production seal
The
original manga was written by Sakusei Kenkyuujyo and
illustrated by Yui Jouyama. Its serialization began in January 2021
through Kadokawa's Dra-Dra Sharp# website, hosted
by the Nico Nico Seiga service. The popularity of the story
has allowed it to maintain a very constant publication, with its ninth
compilation volume published only last February 9 by the Fujimi Shobo division.
It should
be noted that the Deregula label has recently specialized in
adapting this type of risqué works. Among his most notable previous productions
are titles such as Yandere Dark Elf (released in April
2025), Chuhai Lips (July 2025), Hands off: Sawaranaide
Kotesashi-kun (October 2025) and Does It Count If You Lose
Your Virginity to an Android? (recently released on January 9). The
company also confirmed that its next project will be the adaptation of the
manga Ushiro no Shōmen Kamui-san.
