Being underestimated by your fellow adventurers is just the first step to greatness. Immediately following the completion of its twelfth and final episode, the production committee has officially announced that the anime adaptation of Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None (Yusha Party or Oidasareta Kiyo Binbo) will feature a second season for television.

The news came to crown the closing of the first installment, which began its broadcast in January of this year through chains such as Tokyo MX and AT-X. To celebrate the confirmation of this animated sequel, the author and illustrator of the original work shared special commemorative illustrations through their official channels.

Although the exact premiere window and possible additions to the voice cast are kept in reserve, the first season laid the creative foundations of the project under the talent of a technical team already established in the industry.

Additionally, the musical section of the recently ended season stood out with the participation of the popular VTuber Tokoyami Towa performing the opening of the series, while the artist Nowlu was in charge of the ending.

About the franchise

The story follows Orn, a young swordsman who, in an effort to be more useful to his group known as the Hero Group, decides to change his combat style, become a mage, and develop his own magic. However, his efforts are not valued and his childhood friend and leader of the group, Oliver, expels him under the mockery of being a "jack of all trades, master of none". Far from giving up and with his replacement already taking his place, Orn decides to work alone as an explorer, meeting new allies and determined to use his wide repertoire of skills to become the strongest adventurer of all.

The original work, written by Itsuki Togami and illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi, began publication as a web novel in February 2021 before making the leap to physical format under the Kodansha publishing house, reaching its ninth volume. The franchise inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Yonezou, which released its eighteenth compilation volume this month, driving the brand's total sales to surpass an impressive 5.2 million copies in circulation.
