About the work

The original plot is set in Japan during the late 1950s and early 60s, a period of rapid economic growth where circuses were listed as one of the main forms of entertainment. Various companies travel around the country competing to win a place in the prestigious international festival known as the Circus Collection. In this context, the small group Sunflower Circus, led by its master of ceremonies Maria, constantly struggles with financial problems to keep its functions alive.

The group's destiny takes an unexpected turn when they cross paths with Mizuka Tsurumaki, a carefree young woman with an amazing natural talent for physical abilities. From that point on, the story will follow this diverse group of girls as they pursue their ambitions, perfect their acts on the trapeze, and face the challenges of show business. It should be noted that this series marks one of the first large-scale projects for Psyde Kick Studio, the division created by A-1 Pictures in 2025 to promote original ideas.
