The plot
follows Wim Strauss, a young support sorcerer who uses specialized
magic to enhance the abilities of his companions during combat. Despite the
immense usefulness of his enhancement spells, they end up hurting the pride of
his party leader, resulting in Wim's unjust expulsion. However, his situation
changes drastically when his childhood friend, Heidemarie, who has
observed his true potential for years, invites him to join Nachtlibelle, one of
the most powerful guilds in the kingdom. With this new equipment, Wim finally
has the opportunity to demonstrate the true power of a support sorcerer.
The
original work, written by Haka Tokura, began publication in web
novel format on the Shosetsu ni Naro portal in November 2020.
Subsequently, it was acquired by the Futabasha publishing house
for print distribution, scheduling the release of its eleventh compilation
volume for April 30. The franchise also inspired a manga adaptation that began
serialization in September 2021 and remains in active publication.
