Raider King Details
The
animated adaptation of this successful South Korean franchise is produced
entirely by Studio EEK facilities, with the general direction
of Seung Wook Woo. The version that will arrive on Japanese screens

About
the work
The story is set in a world where mysterious tombs suddenly begin to appear all over the planet. Each of these structures houses a special relic capable of granting superhuman powers to its wearer. The protagonist makes a living exploring these dangerous labyrinths, until he is betrayed by his own boss and brought to the brink of death. However, instead of perishing, he awakens fifteen years into the past, in a time before tombs and relics existed.
Armed with
the absolute knowledge of future events and the location of the most powerful
artifacts, he decides to use his temporal advantage to become the strongest
tomb raider in the world and execute his revenge. The original South
Korean webtoon gained international popularity thanks to its
nimble combination of time travel, tactical action, and a morally ambiguous
protagonist willing to do anything to secure his magical monopoly.
