A little
alcohol can be the perfect trigger to reveal the most hidden feelings. The
committee behind the animated adaptation of the yuri comedy Kamiina
Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana released a new official trailer
accompanied by a colorful promotional poster. After months of anticipation, the
video confirmed that the fun drunkenness of its protagonist will arrive
on television on April 10.
The musical
section of this series promises to be one of its strongest points. The footage
gave us a sneak peek of "Mebuku Toki," the energetic opening theme
performed by the band yonige. The real surprise, however, lies in
its ending theme titled "Kanjo Glass": the team confirmed that
each of the six lead actresses will sing a different version of the song,
accompanied by unique animation sequences for each episode, drawn entirely by
character designer Ko Yoshinari.

What is
the story about?
The plot
closely follows Botan Kamiina, a 20-year-old who is just in her first year of
university. In her day-to-day life, she is usually a normal girl, but
everything changes drastically when she consumes alcohol. Once the drinks take
effect, Botan completely loses her inhibitions, becoming extremely bold and
spouting surprising and flirtatious phrases that completely throw off the girls
around her.
