The King of
Magical Beasts is ready to reclaim his throne this summer. This Tuesday,
April 28, the official website of the animated adaptation of Clevatess
(Clevatess: The King of Magical Beasts, the Baby, and the Corpse Hero) shook
the networks by revealing a new official trailer and a
spectacular promotional image for its long-awaited season 2. The
announcement not only confirmed more additions to the voice cast, but ignited
anticipation by revealing that iconic musical group MYTH & ROID will
perform the ending theme song titled "Awake Anew," setting the stage
for its imminent July premiere.
The
voices of dark fantasy
To bring to
life a world plagued by monsters and moral dilemmas, it takes a commanding
vocal talent. The trailer confirmed that the main cast will reprise their roles
from the first season (aired in the summer of 2025), while welcoming new faces

The team
that dominates the magical beasts
Maintaining
the brutal and detailed aesthetic created by mangaka Yuji
Iwahara (world famous for being the character designer of the
legendary Darker than Black and creator of Dimension W)
is a colossal task that falls back on the shoulders of Studio Lay-duce. Kiyotaka
Taguchi returns to the director's chair, accompanied by the dark scripts
of Keigo Koyanagi and the immersive soundtrack of Nobuaki Nobusawa. To support
the massive animation load of this sequel, Natsuko Kondou has joined the
project as a sub-character designer.
What's
in store for the beast lord and the human baby?
This second
season will pick up right where the electrifying finale of 2025 left off. The
story places us in a world on the verge of collapse, where Clevatess, a
fearsome lord of the magical beasts who once threatened to annihilate the
entire human race, is forced to change his destructive plans after becoming
entangled with a fragile human baby and a mysterious corpse hero.
What began
as a lethal curiosity has evolved into a journey of brutal discovery. In this
new installment, we'll see the shifting alliances between dark creatures and
human survivors fracture even further. With factions emerging and new
characters like Sarasa and Edison entering the game board, Clevatess and his
quirky companions will have to decide whether to become the saviors of a broken
world or its ultimate executioners.
