A girl known for being cold to everyone, who is
really just shy. A boy who discovers it by accident. And a distance that
shortens faster than expected once the misunderstanding is resolved. The
Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me revealed its first trailer, a new
promotional image, and new cast members, confirming its premiere for October
2026. In addition, an early screening was announced on September 20 at
Shinjuku Piccadilly with several cast members in attendance.
The first video offers a glimpse into the tone
of the series and the interactions between Sota Oshio and Koharu
Sato, highlighting the light record of a story about first love between two
people who carry unrequited feelings towards each other without either of them
knowing. The new promotional image accompanies the video introducing the main
characters.

About The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot For Me
The Salty Koharu Has a Soft Spot for Me
(Shiotaio no Sato-san ga Ore ni Dake Amai) is a light novel by Kazami
Sawatari with illustrations by Aitiki published under
Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint since 2019, with twelve volumes released
until August 2025. The manga adaptation of Kaya Tetsuyama has
been running since May 2020. The story follows Sota Oshio, a café
employee, who discovers that his classmate Koharu Sato, famous
among her classmates for her cold attitude, is actually simply shy and awkward
to relate to. From that discovery, the distance between the two quickly closes
as the feelings that neither of them have dared to confess begin to complicate
things.
