The
commercial journeys of the wise she-wolf and the traveling merchant are far
from over. During the special online broadcast of Dengeki Bunko Aki no Saiten
Online 2026, the Spice and Wolf franchise gave the news that thousands
of fans were waiting for by confirming the production of the second season
of its new animated adaptation, revealing its first video preview and
projecting its premiere for the year 2027.
The new
installment will bring with it important additions in the voice cast,
highlighting the incorporation of the renowned actress Romi Park in the
role of Eve Bolan. She joins the main cast led by Jun Fukuyama as Kraft
Lawrence, Ami Koshimizu as Holo the wise wolf and Mai Nakahara
playing Norah Arendt, who reprised their iconic characters from the first
installment broadcast from April 2024.
In the
technical section, the Passione studio will once again be in charge of
the animation. Takeo Takahashi returns in the role of chief director
accompanied by Hijiri Sanpei, who directed the first season. The
direction of this new stage will be shared by Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro
Majima. The character designs will once again be signed by Koji Haneda,
now working with Rina Sugimoto, while the talented composer Kevin
Penkin will once again create the soundtrack. The team is completed by
Tomoko Koyama in color design, Morihito Ohara in artistic setting, Kazuhiro
Inoue in art direction, Yuki Okada in photography direction and Ayako Tan in
editing.
