The official Twitter account for the original anime Tiger & Bunny revealed the new character designs for the second season of the project, as well as to the cast members.
The series is slated to premiere in 2022 and will be a direct follow-up to the movie Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, released in 2014.
The first season of the original anime premiered in April 2011 on the Tokyo MX channel. A manga adaptation by Mizuki Sakakibara was published in Kadokawa's Newtype Ace magazine between October 2011 and November 2014. The publisher compiled the work into nine volumes.
The series also featured two animated films titled Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning and Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, released in theaters in Japan in September 2012 and February 2014, respectively.
