Voice actress Mami Yamashita is cured of COVID-19

Talent agency Aoni Production reported that voice actress Mami Yamashita has tested negative for her latest test for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), after testing positive in early April.


With this new result, the voice actress can finally leave home. Yamashita joked on Twitter mentioning that there is nothing to do, so he will still be home anyway.

Yamashita underwent the COVID-19 test on April 6, and received a positive result three days later. Aoni Production stated at the time that Yamashita had been having problems with her sense of smell and taste at first, but was already recovering from this. Finally, in his second PCR (acronym in English: Polymerase Chain Reaction) he received a negative result on May 5.

The actress thanked her fans for her words of support, and for her words of congratulations for her negative result in the COVID-19 test. Yamashita also thanked the health center staff for their effort. For its part, Aoni Production thanked the medical team that attended Yamashita, the fans for their words of support, and everyone who was involved.

Yamashita lent his voice for the character Margay in both seasons of the Kemono Friends series. He has also had minor roles in series like Dragon Ball Super, Hinako Note, BanG Dream !, B-PROJECT, and Osomatsu-san.
