A recent report indicated that the manga written and illustrated by Taichi Tsutsui, Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (also known as We Never Learn) has exceeded 3.7 million copies in circulation.
Tsutsui began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2017, and the publisher will publish the seventeenth volume on June 4. Currently, the work already had its first ending, however, the author clarified that the serialization will continue to accumulate five different endings, inspired by each of the heroines of the story.
The work inspired an anime adaptation of thirteen episodes aired between April and June 2019 and produced as a collaboration of Arvo Animation and Studio Silver studios. Subsequently, there was a second season broadcast between October and December of the same year, which had an original ending closing the story.
Synopsis of Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
His late father always said that a useless man should strive to be useful, so junior high school student Nariyuki Yuiga set out to become a high-achieving student at his school, despite his history of low grades. . In order to give his helpless family a better life, his ultimate goal is to earn the special VIP nomination, a prestigious scholarship that covers all future college fees. Although Nariyuki could be a candidate for the nomination, he is constantly overshadowed by his classmates Rizu Ogata and Fumino Furuhashi in mathematics and literature, respectively.
To his delight, Nariyuki receives the nomination, but there is a catch: he has to be the tutor for two of his classmates, who are hopelessly mediocre on the subject of each other's specialization. To make matters worse, the subjects they are horrible at are the same subjects they want to pursue for their future. As the time approaches to apply for college, Nariyuki must find an effective method of tutoring for girls before it's too late.
