Grappler author Baki made an illustration for Rambo: Last Blood

It was announced that the author of the Grappler Baki manga Keisuke Itagaki , made an illustration to promote the Japanese premiere of the movie Rambo: Last Blood . The author also made the following comment: “Fury and revenge, as long as both still exist, then the franchise can continue indefinitely. I mean, surely he won't die in this movie! For its part, the feature film will be released in theaters in Japan on June 26.
Meanwhile, Itagaki began publishing the manga Grappler Baki in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion Publisher Akita Shoten in October 1991 and is still in publication through the serialization of multiple arcs, with 137 recopilatorios volumes accumulated to date .
The play inspired a 48-episode anime adaptation produced by Group TAC studios , directed by Hitoshi Nan and scripts written by Atsuhiro Tomioka , released in January 2001. Recently, a new season titled Baki , 39-episode, produced by TMS Entertainment studios , under the direction of Toshiki Hirano and scripts written by Tatsuhiko Urahata premiered in June 2018, with a second season premiered on June 4 on Netflix .

Grappler Baki Synopsis

Baki Hanma was raised by his wealthy mother, Emi Akezawa, who also funded his martial arts training in hopes that in the future he would become a powerful warrior like his father, Yujiro Hanma. At the beginning of the series, Baki overcomes traditional training and heads to follow in the footsteps of his ruthless father, meeting powerful fighters along the way, eventually reaching his father and being easily defeated.

This experience will make defeating his father the main objective in Baki's life, for which he will need to hone his skills more and more.
