Ikki Tousen Extra Burst: Minamoto Kurou Yoshitsune dresses as a cheerleader at new event

On the official Twitter account for the smartphone game Ikki Tousen Extra Burst , it was announced that the second half of the “Ichidanketsu !? Kizuna no Cheerleading ”, in which a version of the character of Minamoto Kurou Yoshitsune has been added using a cheerleader costume.

In the first part of this event, it was the character Mitsuyoshi Yagyu who received the alternative version of cheerleader.

It is a game for smartphones that was released for iOS and Android devices recently in Japan in commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the start of the publication of the Yuji Shiozaki manga , Ikki Tousen , which began in the Monthly Comic Gum magazine of the Wani Books publisher in the year 2000, and continued serialization in the magazine until it was terminated in May 2015. On this date, Shiozaki moved the publication to the website of the same magazine, where it continued until August of the same year.

The original manga inspired four anime adaptations and six OVAs. The most recent adaptation was the anime Ikki Tousen: Western Wolves was released in OVA format in February 2019.
