A leak confirmed that the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Musashino, Shakunetsu Kabaddi, will have an anime adaptation. Additionally, the first promotional image was also leaked.
Musashino began publishing the manga in Shogakukan publisher Ura Sunday web magazine since 2015. The publisher published the thirteenth compilation volume on February 12, and will publish the fourteenth on July 10.
Synopsis of Shakunetsu Kabaddi
The story chronicles the efforts of a Kabaddi team, a popular sport in Southeast Asia that is even the national sport of Bangladesh. A player of the team must invade the opposite field and “capture” the players without breathing, the attacker will demonstrate the latter by singing continuously.
