These characters will make their first appearance in the fourth episode of the series which will premiere next week.
The series premiered on April 10, however, it had to suspend the broadcast of its episodes due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan. After this, the series resumed its broadcasts on July 3.
For their part, Tsukuda and Saeki began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2012. Subsequently, the publication of three additional chapters was announced as an epilogue titled “Le dessert” in Jump Giga magazine.
The manga has been adapted into four anime series by the J.C Staff studio. The first season aired for 24 episodes in 2015. The 13-episode second season premiered in 2016. The third season premiered in October 2017, and the second half premiered in April 2018. The fourth season premiered. in October 2019 and had 12 episodes.
Synopsis of Shokugeki no Souma
Souma works with her father in the family restaurant. The young man dreams of being a better chef than his father. However, when he decides to close the restaurant to go to one of the best restaurants in Europe, he also faces a challenge: to be the best student at Tootsuki, the best private cooking school in all of Japan. Thereafter, Sōma will have to put all the meat on the spit to graduate from one of the most demanding and competitive institutions in the world.
