In the official Twitter account of the Shonen Jump magazine line of the Shueisha publishing house, an official statement was published informing about the actions that will be taken on the manga series written by Tatsuya Matsuki and illustrated by Shiro Usazaki, Act-Age.

- No more volumes will be printed after the thirteenth. Reprints of volumes 1 through 12 have been canceled until further notice.
- Any digital distribution of the series will be stopped immediately at any bookstore, including the Shonen Jump Plus portal and the Jump Book Store site.
- For each planned project that includes applicants, merchandise will be shipped as scheduled, even if they can be canceled.
- The official 2021 calendar that was to be based on the series has been discontinued. Any reservation in the publisher's official store will be canceled and reimbursed to customers.
- The Natsucomi photography contest that was based on this franchise has been canceled. Those selected to participate will be moved to a similar contest based on another series.
- The DVD-Box that the Rakujou store was going to include in the twelfth compilation volume will be canceled. All fans who have been winners of this product will receive another as compensation.
- The series '366 Day Stickers', which were scheduled to be released on August 30, will be discontinued.

Act-Age Synopsis
The story centers on Kei Yonagi, a high school student whose dream is to become an actress. She lives with her two younger brothers, after her father abandoned them and her mother passed away.
Kei has an impressive talent for acting, to the point where she is able to get so into character that she abandons reality. During an audition, some speculate that her incredible talent could also be dangerous to herself, and she is not accepted. However, Kei catches the attention of a renowned director named Sumiji Kuroyama, who hires her in order to showcase her talent and potential.
