The official site for the original Aniplex and Studio VOLN anime, Back Arrow, revealed the distribution information for the Blu-ray/DVD compilation volumes, which also confirmed that the series will have a total of 24 episodes.
- Volume 1 (episodes 1 to 3) - April 28, 2021.
- Volume 2 (episodes 4 to 6) - May 26, 2021
- Volume 3 (episodes 7 to 9) - June 23, 2021.
- Volume 4 (episodes 10 to 12) - July 28, 2021.
- Volume 5 (episodes 13 to 15) - August 25, 2021.
- Volume 6 (episodes 16 to 18) - September 29, 2021
- Volume 7 (episodes 19 to 21) - October 27, 2021.
- Volume 8 (episodes 22 to 24) - November 24, 2021
The series has been on air in Japan since January 8th, and previously it had been confirmed that it would have a duration of two consecutive arcs, although the number of episodes had not been specified. No platform has the global distribution rights so far. On the other hand, Blu-ray volumes are individually priced at 8,800 yen (US$84) while DVD volumes are individually priced at 7,700 yen (US$74).
Different Twitter accounts also published the opening and closing animated sequences of this original project. Although they are officially published on YouTube, Aniplex always blocks their content outside of Japan. The opening sequence features the theme "Dawn" performed by LiSA.

Synopsis of Back Arrow
Ringarindo is a land surrounded by a wall. The wall covers, protects, cultivates and nourishes this land. The wall is god ... is the foundation of this land of Ringarindo. One day, a mysterious boy named Back Arrow appears in the village of Essha on the outskirts of Ringarindo. Arrow lost his memories, but says all he knows is: "I came from beyond the wall". To restore his memories, Arrow goes beyond the wall, but is drawn into a battle with himself as the stakes are high.
