A leak in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed that Tite Kubo 's Bleach manga will have major announcements in the magazine's July 4 issue. The information will refer to the anime Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen ( Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War ), whose premiere is scheduled for next October in Japan.

It should be remembered that the franchise has already confirmed its participation in the Anime Expo 2022 event , specifically for July 2, with English voice actors Michelle Ruff (Rukia), Dan Woren (Byakuya) and Wally Wingert (Renji) as panelists . It is then expected that both media will publish the same information about the project.

Tite Kubo published the original manga in Shueisha ' s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between August 2001 and August 2016, compiling the work into a total of 74 volumes. The play inspired an anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot , under the direction of Noriyuki Abe , broadcast between October 2004 and March 2012, with a total of 366 episodes.

Synopsis for Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki is an ordinary high school student, until his family is attacked by a Hollow, a corrupting spirit that seeks to devour human souls. It is then that he meets a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki, who is injured while she is protecting Ichigo's family from the assailant. In order to save the family from him, Ichigo accepts Rukia's offer to take her powers and as a result, becomes a Soul Reaper.

However, with Rukia unable to regain her own power, Ichigo is faced with the daunting task of hunting down the Hollows plaguing his city. However, he is not alone in his fight, as he is later joined by his friends: classmates Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryuu Ishida, who have their own unique abilities. As Ichigo and his comrades adjust to their new responsibilities and support each other on and off the battlefield, the young Soul Reaper will soon discover that the Hollows are just the least of his problems.
