The manufacturing company Broccoli announced the release of a 1/7 scale figure based on the character Ruka Sarashina from the Kanojo franchise Okarishimasu ( Rent A Girlfriend ) for the month of February 2023 in Japan.
The character is described as follows: “ Ruka is born with an irregular heartbeat, so she wants to do exciting activities to make her heart beat faster. She becomes a rental girlfriend in hopes of finding love and a faster heartbeat. While she is rented by Shun Kuribayashi, she meets Kazuya Kinoshita. Her heart beats faster when she's with Kazuya, and she realizes that he really cares about rental girlfriends. She falls in love with him and confesses her love for him. As Kazuya's girlfriend, she has a hard time because she knows that he and her family prefer her rental girlfriend Chizuru “Mizuhara” Ichinose, so she tries by all means to make Kazuya fall in love with her ”.
The product has a height of about 233mm, will be priced at 21,000 yen (about 154 US dollars), and will be available for reservation starting June 26 in the Chinese market. There will also be a special edition with a different face, which will be priced at 22,000 yen (about US$162).
Sinopsis de Kanojo, Okarishimasu
Kazuya Kinoshita is a 20-year-old college student who has a wonderful girlfriend: the brilliant Mami Nanami. But suddenly, not anymore. Without warning, Mami breaks up with him, leaving him heartbroken and lonely. Seeking to ease his pain, he hires a girlfriend for hire through an online app. Her partner is Chizuru Mizuhara, who through her incomparable beauty and cute behavior, manages to win Kazuya's affection. But after reading similar experiences from other clients Chizuru had, Kazuya is certain that her caring personality and warm smile were just an act to play on her heart, and he puts her down.
