Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic will end with an hour-long episode

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka , Kaguya-sama: Love is War , it was announced that the twelfth and last episode of the third season, titled Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic , will have an extended duration of one hour (also including commercials). The statement included a promotional video for this final episode, which will air on June 24 in Japan:

A new promotional image for this third season was also published, which includes the text: « Goodbye, romantic comedy ». Previously it had been indicated that the series would have thirteen episodes, but in the end it turned out that the twelfth will count double since it will last one hour.

This third season has been broadcast since April 8 and is confirmed with at least twelve episodes, while the Crunchyroll and Funimation platforms are responsible for its distribution in the West. For her part, Aka Akasaka began publishing the manga in Shueisha 's Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015, and moved it to Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2016.
