Through the official website for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka , Kaguya-sama: Love is War , a new promotional video was shared for the next feature film of the franchise, which will be titled Kaguya-sama: Love is War – The First Kiss That Never Ends . The release date of the tape is scheduled for December 17 in theaters in Japan and in February 2023 in the United States. The film will also have a version for television (and surely streaming) that will arrive soon.
In this preview you can hear the theme song of the project "Love is Show" , performed by the singer Masayuki Suzuki in collaboration with Reni Takagi (a member of the idol group Momoiro Clover Z).
Finally, the project is a direct continuation of the third season, as it coincides with the title of the arc in question, affectionately known as the " Ice Kaguya Arc ", where Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane decide to take off their masks and show that they really love to the "true self" of the other.
For his part, Aka Akasaka began publishing the manga in Shueisha 's Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015, and moved it to Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2016, ending it in November 2022. The work has inspired so far three seasons of an anime adaptation, followed by an animated film currently in production at A-1 Pictures .
Synopsis for Kaguya-sama: Love is War
At the renowned Shuchiin Academy, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya are the top representatives of the student body. Ranked as the best student in the nation and respected by his peers and mentors, Miyuki is the student council president. Along with him, Vice President Kaguya -eldest daughter of the wealthy Shinomiya family- stands out in every field imaginable. They are the envy of all the students, considered the perfect couple. However, despite the fact that both have already developed feelings for each other, neither is willing to admit them. The first to confess loses, will be despised and will be considered the least.
