On the official site for the anime adaptation of Kimitake Yoshioka 's manga Temple: No One Can Live on Loneliness , a collaboration with Kanojo's multimedia franchise Okarishimasu ( Rent A Girlfriend ) was announced. This is a rather unique collaboration, since the only thing both franchises have in common is the fact that they are published by the same publisher.

The press release also included a special illustration where Chizuru Mizuhara appears in one of the visuals for the anime Temple: No One Can Live on Loneliness , as well as another visual where Chizuru appears absent from one of Kanojo's visuals, Okarishimasu. Finally, in the statement it was also reported that there will be a "mini-anime" that will combine both franchises and that it will be available soon .

On the other hand, the anime adaptation of Temple: No One Can Live on Loneliness has been broadcast since July 8 and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes. On the other hand, the third season of Kanojo, Okarishimasu has been broadcast since July 7 and is also confirmed with a total of twelve episodes. Both series are being distributed by the Crunchyroll platform in the West.

Synopsis of Temple

Akemitsu Akegami was always told by his father that "no one can live alone"... but he is very determined. After all, his father sure as hell didn't mean it with the best of intentions, and Akemitsu has no desire to become like that creep. But when a chance encounter with a young woman leaves him with too impure thoughts, he decides to do what he must: become a Buddhist monk and renounce worldly customs. But the temple he decides to dedicate himself to... is it full of women? And that same young lady is also there? What can a man do?
