A press
release listed that the manga written and illustrated by Yayu Murata ,
“ If
My Wife Became an Elementary School Student ( Tsuma,
Shougakusei ni Naru ),” will have an anime adaptation premiering
sometime this year in Japan. The statement listed production details, but did
not reveal the voice cast in charge.
Yayu Murata began publishing
the manga through the Houbunsha publisher's Weekly
Manga Times magazine in July 2018, and ended it in December 2022.
Therefore, this is one of those strange cases in which a finished manga gets an
anime adaptation. The above is possibly because the work was quite popular at
the time due to its curious theme.
