A recent leak has claimed that the anime adaptation
of the manga written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo
Ueda , “ Fairy
Tail: 100 Years Quest ,” will have a total of twenty-five
episodes . The leak does not indicate whether these episodes will air
consecutively or if they will be separated, although considering the history of
the franchise and the studio in charge, they will probably be broadcast
continuously.
On the other hand, it is worth remembering that this
information, although it comes from a reliable source, is a leak and is
information pending official confirmation. In the meantime, the series
is scheduled to premiere on July 7 in Japan.
For their part, Mashima and Ueda began publishing
the manga in Kodansha 's Magazine
Pocket digital service in July 2018. This manga is a direct sequel to
the manga written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima ,
" Fairy Tail ", which was published in Kodansha 's Weekly
Shonen Magazine between August 2006 and July 2017, with a total of
sixty-three compiled volumes.
Sinopsis of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
The 100-year quest, a mission so
challenging and dangerous that it hasn't been accomplished in over a century.
While countless mages have attempted to take on its grueling goal, their
results have ended in crushing defeat or worse. Nonetheless, Natsu Dragneel and
his friends, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, and Wendy Marvell,
along with Happy and Charles, will ambitiously embark on their quest.
One year after the Fairy Tail guild has
overcome the evil forces of Acnologia and Zeref, Natsu and his team travel to
the Northern Continent of Guiltina, where they search for the employer of the
“Hundred Year Mission,” which involves sealing the Five Dragon Gods, a group of
individuals with such vast power that, if left to their own devices, they could
cause worldwide devastation. Meanwhile, an energetic new member named Touka
enters Fairy Tail. Though her vibrant energy and passionate nature make her a
perfect fit for the team, there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.
