Synopsis of Tales of Wedding Ring
A decade ago, Princess Krystal Novaty "Hime"
Nokanatika traveled from another world to escape assassination attempts by an
evil force. When she arrives in present-day Japan, she meets Haruto Satou. With
him she shares a promise: she must forget what she just witnessed and they will
both become friends. Hime returns to the kingdom of Nokanatika to fulfill her
royal duties and bids farewell to Haruto. However, when the young man suddenly
remembers her first meeting with Hime, he runs to the place where she first
appeared and crosses her dimensional portal to reunite with her.
Their arrival interrupts the marriage ceremony between
Krystal and Prince Marmarugias Gisaras. The wedding is brutally interrupted by
the attack of a monster from the abyss that threatens the life of the princess.
Acting impulsively, Hime decides to exchange rings with Haruto, granting her
new husband light powers that allow her to kill the monster. Now dubbed the
King of the Rings, Haruto must marry four other princesses to gain new magical
powers and have a chance to prevail in his fight against the world's enemy: the
King of the Abyss.
