Toei Animation, known for iconic franchises like
“ Dragon Ball ” and “ One Piece ,” has
revealed that the hit series “ Girls
Band Cry ” will have a major announcement coming soon.
Although some speculate that it could be a second season or
even a compilation film , others are more cautious and believe
that the series could finally be legally available in the West .
This is especially relevant given that “Girls Band Cry” was
one of the few recent seasonal anime that was not licensed by any streaming
platform.
“Girls Band Cry” is an original series
from Toei Animation that has surprised fans with its innovative use of CGI, an
animation technique that generally faces rejection from the public. Despite
this, the anime managed to capture attention by breaking away from the typical
stories of cute girls playing music, offering additional depth to the

The series follows the story of Nina
Iseri, a 17-year-old girl who arrives in Tokyo hoping to enroll in a good

favorite guitarists. Together, they decide to form a band, adding members such
as the talented drummer Subaru Awa, the reserved keyboardist Tomo Ebizuka and
the intelligent bassist Rupa. Throughout the series, the five girls
face challenges both in the music industry and in their personal lives, but
their shared passion for music keeps them motivated to not give up on their
dreams.
Toei Animation's potential announcement has
