A recent leak claimed that the anime adaptation of the
manga “ Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete ( Gushing
over Magical Girls )” will have a sequel. It should be
noted that the information is pending official confirmation, although it comes
from a reliable source, and that the format that this sequel project will have
(new season, movie, OVA season) is not indicated. Therefore, it is recommended
to wait for more information soon.
It should be noted that the franchise has a major
event scheduled for October 5 in Japan , which will
feature the participation of the main voice cast, which would be the perfect

publishing the manga through Takeshobo 's Manga
Life STORIA magazine in January 2019, where it is currently suspended.
The thirteen-episode anime adaptation was produced by Asahi Production studios
and aired during the Winter-2024 period (January-March) .
Synopsis of Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete
Hiiragi Utena has always admired magical girls and
fantasized about becoming a cool heroine who fights evil. So when a doll-like
figure approaches her one night, claiming to have latent magical power within
her, she trembles with excitement. But her colorful dream is quickly cut short
in an ironic turn of events when she transforms into a villain.
Uninterested in associating with the forces of evil,
she attempts to leave when a group of magical girls appear and declare war on
her. A battle ensues and Hiiragi soon discovers that she enjoys inflicting pain
on others as her true nature begins to emerge. “Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete”
follows Hiiragi in her new life as the leader of the villains, battling magical
girls and unleashing her newfound sadistic nature.
