The official site for the anime adaptation of the
manga “ One-Punch Man ” listed the
third season of the project as set to premiere sometime in 2025 in Japan. This
is the first time a scheduled date has been mentioned, breaking the uncertainty
that had been generated around this franchise due to the lack of updates.
A special promotional visual was also revealed to mark
the franchise’s 10th anniversary, accompanied by a special promotional video. A special event
titled “ One-Punch Man Maji Music Festival ” will be held on
September 14, 2025 in Tokyo to celebrate the 10th anniversary, featuring

For its part, ONE began publishing
the manga independently in 2009, and later Yusuke Murata began
publishing it as a manga in Shueisha 's Tonari
no Young Jump service in June 2012. The work inspired a twelve-episode
anime adaptation produced by Madhouse studios and
released in October 2015, followed by a second season of twelve episodes
produced by JCSTAFF studios and released in April 2019.
One Punch Man Synopsis
Seemingly ordinary and unimpressive Saitama has a
rather unique hobby: being a hero. In order to pursue his childhood dream, he
trained relentlessly for three years and lost all of his hair in the process.
Now, Saitama is incredibly powerful, so much so that no enemy can defeat him in
battle. He is so powerful that he only needs to land one punch to defeat his
enemies, because of this he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battle and
has become rather boring.
This all changes with the arrival of Genos, a
19-year-old cyborg, who wishes to be Saitama’s disciple after seeing what he’s
capable of. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association to become
certified heroes who will be recognized for their positive contributions to
society, and Saitama, shocked that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. And
so begins the story of One Punch Man, an action-comedy that follows an
eccentric individual who yearns to fight strong enemies that can hopefully give
him the rush he once felt and just maybe, become popular in the process.
