During a
special event, it was announced that " Haikyu!! Vs. The Little
Giant ," the second film in the " Haikyu!! Final " bilogy, is now in
production with a release date yet to be announced. This installment
will cover the match between Karasuno High and Kamomedai High, bringing the
anime adaptation to a close as previously announced.
However,
"Haikyu!!: The Place Where Monsters Go," an anime short that will air
on television at a date yet to be announced, was also announced. This project will cover the
match between Fukurodani High and Mujinazaka High, which takes place in the
same Quarterfinals of the Spring Tournament.
nterestingly,
although the two-film project was originally announced as "Haikyu!!
Final," the official site has since stopped referring to the project by
that name. The
"Final" part has been removed from the official site, which is a ray
of hope for fans of the original manga, as if Karasuno High Vs. Kamomedai High
is the last match to be seen in the anime adaptation, that would leave the
story at Chapter 367, leaving another 40 chapters of the original manga to be
left.
For his
part, Haruichi Furudate began publishing the manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine
in February 2012 and ended it in July 2020, with the publisher compiling the
work into a total of forty-five compilation volumes. Four seasons of the
animated adaptation of the project have been produced to date, accumulating a
total of eighty-five episodes.
Synopsis
of Haikyu!!

Hinata began playing volleyball after watching the “little giants” playing the
sport when he was in elementary school. He suffers a crushing defeat in his

Kageyama. Hinata then joins the Karasuno High School volleyball team, vowing
revenge against Kageyama. However, Kageyama is also on the Karasuno team. The
former rivals form a legendary combo with Hinata’s mobility and Kageyama’s
precise ball handling. Together, they take on local tournaments and vow to face
