Several months ago it was confirmed that the
"One Piece" anime would be going on a six-month hiatus starting
October 27, with its return scheduled for April 2025. The decision was
made to improve the animation quality , and during this time the
Fish-Man Island Arc would be rebroadcast in a remastered and reduced version.
Now, more
details about the series' return have finally been revealed. The second
part of the Egghead Arc will begin on April 5 with episode 1,123 ,
which will air on Fuji TV at 9:00 p.m. (JST), accompanied by a special episode
that will recap the first part of this arc. The following day, on April
6, episode 1,124 will premiere , marking the new broadcast time of
11:15 p.m. (JST).
Additionally,
it was confirmed that the new opening theme will be "Tenshi to Akuma" ( Angels and Demons ), performed
by GRe4N BOYZ (formerly known as GReeeeN ).
Separately, Crunchyroll will stream the first two episodes of the new
installment the weekend of April 5-6, along with an 83-minute compilation
special of the first part of the Egghead Arc, available in the US, Canada,
Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America. The release
included a comment from the band:

With the
return date fast approaching, excitement among fans continues to grow. It's
worth reviewing the details of this long-running franchise so far:
- In October 2024, the franchise
announced that the anime's current Egghead Arc would be going on hiatus to "recharge,"
with its continuation set to resume in April 2025.
- The anime is currently airing
"One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga" , a 21-episode abridged
version of the "Fish-Man Island Arc", which features re-recorded
scenes, retouched art, and other improvements.
