As we
mentioned in a previous news item, the anime adaptation of " Your
Forma: Electronic Investigator Echika and Her Amicus Ex Machina "
was already confirmed to premiere on April 2nd within TV Asahi's new
programming block, IM Animation W. Now, there's more news for fans of this
science fiction crime thriller.

REMOW has revealed the credit-free opening sequence , where we can fully enjoy the opening
theme song, "GRIDOUT" by Yama. But that's not all,
as a mini-anime titled " Petit Forma: Electrocrime Bureau Journal "
has also been announced, an SD-format spinoff that will follow the daily lives
of Echika and her friends in a more relaxed version. In this project,
Kana Hanazawa and Kensho Ono will reprise their roles as Echika and Harold,
respectively.
With this
extra, the wait for the main anime premiere becomes even more interesting. All
that's left is to count down the days until April!
- The Your Forma light novels ,
written by Mareho Kikuishi and illustrated by Tsubata
Nozaki , began serialization in Dengeki Bunko in
2021. The work also inspired a manga adaptation by Yoshinori
Kisaragi , which serialized in Young Ace between
2021 and 2023, although it did not cover the entire original story.
- The main cast is led by Kana
Hanazawa, Kensho Ono, Nao Touyama, Aya Endou, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Ayaka
Nanase, Chiwa Saitou and Yuu Hayashi , who are joined by Koichi
Yamadera, Tomokazu Sugita, Jun Fukuyama and Hisako Tojo in new
roles.
- The anime production is in the
hands of a team with experience in major franchises: Takaharu
Ozaki (Goblin Slayer) in direction, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (JoJo's
Bizarre Adventure) in script supervision, Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan)
in charge of character design, and Tatsuya Katou (Dr.
STONE) in musical composition.
- The story takes us to a world
where the Your Forma technology, developed to curb an ancient epidemic,
has become a system that records every experience its users have. Echika Hieda, a
researcher specializing in analyzing this data, has been having trouble
with her human assistants, so she is assigned Harold Lucraft, an android,
as a partner. Despite their differences, the two must join forces to
prevent a potential technological crisis.
