A press
release from Ichijinsha reported that Sigma Torai 's manga
" The Policeman, Sometimes the Beast! ( Sono
Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajuu! )" will be getting an anime
adaptation sometime this year in Japan. The release also revealed
production details, stating that the manga will be a steamy romance series.
The manga
has been published by Ichijinsha 's LOVEBITES imprint
since December 2019, with over 2 million copies in circulation.
Previously, Sigma Torai published " Omiai Aite wa
Oshiego, Tsuyoki na, Mondaiji (My Matchmaking Partner Is My Student,
An Aggressive Troublemaker)," another adult romance that also had an anime
adaptation.
Synopsis
of The Policeman, Sometimes the Beast!
"Show
me your house." Hiyori thought there was no problem in accepting; after
all, he was a police officer... but could her safety be at risk if she lets him
stay with her? Hiyori is an ordinary office worker who enjoys a quiet life in
the city. However, her routine takes an unexpected turn when, due to an
unfortunate accident, she ends up with a broken arm. Unable to care for herself
in certain situations, she accepts the unexpected proposal of Kumano, a police
officer who was present at the time of the accident and who, somehow, ends up
living with her.
At
first, the idea of sharing her home with a law enforcement officer seems
comforting. After all, what could go wrong if her temporary companion is a
representative of justice? But as the days pass, a strange feeling begins to
bother her… Is it really safe to have let him into her life?
