The
official X/Twitter account for the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise revealed new
visual art and the long-awaited premiere date for its next arc. The new chapter
of the series, titled Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Deluxe Kesshō-hen (Deluxe
Final Arc), will hit Japanese screens on Friday, July 5, through the usual
channels and platforms.
The
evolution of the saga continues with its eighth season.
This new
arc is part of the sixth main installment of the "D Series," but
represents the eighth season in the modern Cardfight!! Vanguard universe. The
Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez anime began airing in January 2024, followed by
its second season in July 2024, consisting of 13 episodes.
In addition
to its Japanese broadcast, the series is available on platforms such as Amazon
Prime Video, d Anime Store, Niconico, and the official Cardfight!! Vanguard
YouTube channel. For its part, Crunchyroll offers simulcast streaming for the
rest of the world. The English-dubbed version premiered on YouTube on April 25.
A Franchise
That Never Stops Growing
Since the
release of Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress in April 2021, the saga has
maintained a steady growth. The first season of Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress
premiered in July 2022 and gave way to seasons four and five, which arrived in
January and July 2023, respectively. Now, with Divinez Deluxe Kesshō-hen, the
universe reaches its eighth installment.
Bushiroad
had already announced that it planned to produce up to nine seasons for this
"D Series," but recently confirmed that they are already working on a
tenth season and beyond, thus ensuring the continuity of the Cardfight!!
Vanguard universe.
