On May
15, 2025 (UTC+2, Spain time), Kodansha 's Comic Days app published
the final chapter of the manga Amayakashite Kureru
Gym no Oneesan , by author Hikaru Wakatsuki .
The series,
which roughly translates to “The Older Woman at the Gym Who Pampers
Me,” centers on 24-year-old Sasaki , who decides to start
training. While visiting the gym, she meets Sora Gorōmaru , a
cold, attractive older woman who is determined to help her improve her body…
using unconventional motivational methods laced with suggestive tension .
A comic
romance between sweat and provocation
The story
blends comedy, humor, and a touch of romance , with situations
in which Sora tests Sasaki with sensual rewards after their
workouts. The chemistry between the two quickly became the central axis of this
curious trainer-student dynamic.
The
manga debuted in Morning Two magazine in August 2023 , and although its
serialization was brief, it managed to capture attention due to its
lighthearted and provocative approach. The second compiled book volume was
published in December 2024 , and the third and final volume has
been confirmed to be available starting July 23, 2025 .
Hikaru
Wakatsuki and his career at Kodansha
Wakatsuki is no stranger to these kinds of works. In 2018, he released Higyaku Danshi Fujisaki-kun (known in English as Fujisaki-kun's Prey-ful Life ), also published on the Comic Days app, ending in March 2019 . This darkly comic story was collected into three volumes and later translated into English by the K MANGA platform .
With the
closing of Amayakashite Kureru Gym no Oneesan , the author
closes another chapter in his career, leaving fans with a short story but full
of charm and unforgettable moments.
